A nice twist on grilled grouper with bacon and scallions served with al dente broccoli and a smidge of mashed potatoes and a bite of sweet corn. A fresh green salad and some citrus add antioxidants and fiber. Fresh flowers make this colorful table complete.
A heart healthy breakfast starts with a fruit and soy protein shake with coconut cream. Oatmeal has soluable fiber, and blueberries help lower blood pressure. Add some homemade granola with almonds for a little crunch to complete this hearty breakfast on a cold Florida morning.
On the run today, omelettes are quick and easy. Add some fruit and raw vegetables; always have something on your plate pulled from the earth. I mashed avocado on my toast for some nice fat energy. On my way to work!
Leftovers again. Deconstructed pizza with roasted cauliflower, roasted eggplant, quinoa, Kalamata olives, fresh tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, sprinkle of red pepper flakes. Lots of raw vegetables saved the day.
A nice tray of smoked salmon demands a snack supper, assembly required. Trader Joe’s fig and olive crackers and Wasa gluten free crackers provided a sturdy base for cream cheese, avocado, and some crunchy cucumber slices.
